Question about Akai LCT2701TD Television
My Akai 27" lcd's sound quality is very bad. The vendor told me it could not be repaired, because it was an internal problem. The Akai technical staff seemed to confirm this when they told me I'd need a cable box (for a cable-ready tv) to get the sound to work properly. Is there anything else I could do? I don't have room for a cable box, now that I have a larger tv. Thanks
I don't have any problem with sound when I plug my cable wire directly into the TV's coaxial port. It sounds like there is a problem with the speakers or the sound board in the TV. I don't think the cable box would even help. If the TV is still under warranty, maybe you could borrow a cable box from someone else to see if it will work, and if it doesn't, contact Akai tech support again and demand repairs.
