Error Message

My wii has just started not running games. It will open up to the main menu of the game and will begin loading the game to start. Once the game starts, I receive an error message (black screen) and it tells me to consult my owners manual. I have tried restarting it, removing the cord in the back and restarting, and other games. So it is not game specific. Does anyone have any suggestions?
