Question about 2wire HomePortal® 1800HW Router (1000400212000LNR)
I have just purchased a Netgear WGR614 wireless router. I have installed it as per the CD Rom supplied however, when i try to connect to the internet I am unable to do so. The laptop recognises that it is connected to the router but does not allow me to gain access to the internet. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron and it is wi fi enabled and used to work on the Belkin router I used to have. The main desktop pc is working ok and allows me to connect to the internet. Does anyone know what I can do to get connected? My ISP is Virgin and I connect through cable broadband.
I have resolved the problem by doing a system restore. I set the computer to a previous date and this seems to have sorted out the problem. I guess that I may have had a software confliction.
