How did you install it? What kind of drive is it? EIDE, SCSI, SATA?

do you what make / model of motherboard do you have ?

its usually printed on the mobo itself..

something like KVN-M2 or so...

Is this your principal drive or is a SATA drive the main one
Sata and IDE drives do not work together unless you fiddle about with BIOS
