Hi,
What key combination should i use to reset the player.
First, try a soft reset. Do this by pressing the center button and the up volume button simultaneously and try turning it on. If that does not work for you, you will need to get a micro sd card (it can be a dummy) and insert it into the slot on the side of the mp3 player. If you do not have one, you can use one of the round edges of a paper clip (be careful) to get it to come on. When you put either in, it should come on automatically, but if not, just press the power button. This should work.
My problem was that after unplugging from my PC, I selected a playlist, my express 1.0 gb was just hung on the first song. I powered it off and it would not power on again.
I tried Jazzy's suggestion and it worked perfectly, thanks Jazz!
Jazzy your the man fixed it right up on the soft boot thanks ,was looking to send it back an seen fixya what a blessing
My express was inadvertently unpluged from the USB port while charging - it froze with the 'connected' icon displayed and was unreponsive.
Jazzboy's solution worked totally - held center button and then up (+) volume button which shut her off. turned it back on and everything was fine
Thanks Jazz
