Where can I get the connecting wires that connect the Hard drive to the mother board?

If it is an IDE hard drive, this will be a flat ribbon cable with 40 pinouts. You will plug the cable in the matching socket closest to the CPU (there will always be a few available sockets)
If it is a SATA hard drive the cable is much slimmer with a right-angled connector. If you look really closely at the connector blocks on the motherboard they will be numbered from SATA0 to SATA3 (or higher depending on how many are there) - choose the lowest available number.

Maybe you can press "F2" to the enter the bios setting of mother board and select the optimized default setting and then press " F10" to save and exit.

I need the connector between HD and mother board from where can me get it

Any computer store should carry both PATA (wide, usually grey, usually about 2 1/2 inches wide as I recall) or SATA (skinny cord, maybe 1/2 inch wide) hard drive connectors. They're inexpensive. If you don't have a store nearby, a site such as newegg.com will have them available as well.

Hard drive issues

I'm assuming this is an internal drive since you are mentioning it not appearing in the bios. If the hard drive is not recognized by the bios check to make sure that the power and IDE or SATA drives are plugged in all the way. If there power, you will hear the unit spin up when you start the machine. If you do not hear the drive spin when the machine starts, make sure the power (for pin) plug is plugged in all the way and attached to the power supply.

If the drive does spin up, then verify the IDE cable (flat ribbon cable with long rectangular connectors at both ends) is plugged in all the way and that it is oriented in the correct direction. There is normally a key at the top (square pin) so that the cable only goes one way. If there is no "key," look at the drive. One end should be labled with pin "1". One side of your cable should have a line that is different than the rest of the cable (normally red). This corresponds to pin "1."

Make sure that the IDE cable is completely plugged in at both the drive and the mother board.

If this is a SATA drive, then you should verify that the SATA cable is attached firmly to the hard drive and the mother board. My guess is that your drive is an IDE drive.

Hope this helps - flub

How do I remove the hard disk from a Samsung X05 laptop?

Go to Avaira.com and download there repair tool, put it on a disk
or a flash drive and run it in dos, thats before windows starts.

The tool will search for virus, rootkits, trojans.

Avira is the # 2 top anti-virus there is on planet, there tool is a free
download. If this is a virus, avaira will kill it, this will do nothing
if there are bad sectors on the hard drive and it won't boot.

No need to pull hdd.

Testing mother board:
1. remove memory:
if the mainboard produce long beep means good.
if not that is bad.
2. if produce long beeps then insert the memory.
3. if same happen.hear long beep. then clean or replace memory.

If your are sure evething is ok in the mboard; then you can test your drive:

Hard drive test:

1. first fixed well all the connection bet the HDD.
2. if work then ok, if not then,
3. replace other IDE cable/ sata cable and fixed well again.
4.if still thesame; then
5. examine your HDD , the circuit maybe shorted.
