Those wheels have a fixed axil that goes bad. A new wheel will fix that.

Go to go hoover .com type in your model,ask for blueprint/schematics,look at blueprint ,find your part,cause they will have it, find the part number/price,and they will ship you the part,it's cheaper to fix it yourself, check it out, if I can do it, so can you, if not then pay to have it fixed, I am a cheapo,I fix it myself,also YouTube will show you how to fix it

It sounds like the 9-beep error. You can fix it by buying a repair kit from www.eesolutions.ca. I fixed mine in about an hour and a half.

It is pretty tough to fix a retractor. Maybe hook direct and wind up the cord manual like uprights.

fixed the problem but i got to pay to get the problem idea of fixing it but you want me to post for free what i did to fix it hummmmmmm??????

thanks for getting back, but my dad fixed it, all he really used was a little super glue to hold the skrew in, not really a total fix but it works. thanks though.
