Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router

I uploaded v4.21.1 flash into the router via the UI and everything went fine...the flash came back successful...when i rebooted the UI was hosed...no tabs, no lables, just the fields...i tried the 30 second reset ordeal...no joy...a buddy helped me ftp flash it and a apparently we reset it too soon...now it is literaly a brick...the Power light flashes quickly and the DMZ is in a slow (7 second) flash.
is there a factory refirb program, is there someone that i can send it to

You may try refalshing the firmware of the router again. Please do a hard reset on your router. To do that, press and hold the reset button of the router for about a 20 seconds. Keep holding the reset button and then unplug power from the router without releasing the reset button. Wait for about 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, power on the router and wait for about 15 seconds more then release the reset. Turn off the router and wait for a minute before turning it on. Observe if the power light is still blinking or not.
Then, check the IP address that the computer is obtaining. To do that, click on START>RUN then type CMD and then click OK. Once you're in the command prompt, type ipconfig/all then press ENTER. Look for the IP address it will give you.
If the computer does not obtain a valid IP address from the router, then you may need to assign a static IP address to the computer. To assign a static IP address to your computer: CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK CONNECTIONS. Right click on LOCAL AREA CONNECTIONS then click on PROPERTIES. Then look for Internet Protocol TCP/IP. Select it then click properties and then set it to Use the Following IP address. IP address will be set to 192.168.1.2. Subnet Mask will be set to 255.255.255.0. You may leave the default gateway and DNS servers blank. Click ok all the way out.
Open the command prompt again and then ping your router. Do the command, ping 192.168.1.1 then press ENTER. Check if you will be able to receive replies or not.
If you received 4 replies from the ping then you may upgrade the firmware of the router. If not then the router is busted.
I believe, Linksys offers replacement for their in-warranty devices. You may verify from their customer service at 800 546 5797. They are using a certain tool which will detect the warranty of your router through its Serial number.
