Question about i-mate JAMin Smartphone
Hi I have a problem with my imate Jamin. I have loaded active sync 4.1 on my machine but it gives me an error code 85010014. My computer is a network computer so I allready have outlook on the pc. We run Office 2000 on our pc's. The thing is I have been able to sync no for quite some time but now all of a sudden it gives me that code. We have re-installed active sync but it gives me the same error. My system administrator has also looked into the problem and suggested that we re-instal all off the programs on my profile. I not sure it will work. Can you please help? Thanks Alwyn
Hi Alwyn, i had the same problem & had to reinstall everything & then it worked. However it does revert back to giving the same error code from time to time. I think its coz i bought my imate jamin from a firm in sydney over the internet. When i got it, it had no mms settings on it [i later discivered it was an 'import' so i had to delete all its software & reinstall everything from software off the net]. I've been through hundreds of dollars trying to solve this problem [i originally thought it was my desktop soo i bought a laptop to synch with & it did the same]. You just need to persist in re-setting up the bluetooth when it does it but remember to cancel all previous bluetooth settings. I'll never buy an expensive phone off the net again - i'd prefer to pay $1000 from a shop rather than $900 of the net & have these problems.
