Question about Xerox DocuPrint P12 Laser Printer
Xerox DocuPrint P12 Feed and Paper Lights Just Flash when I ask it to print and I have to click the pause/feed button once for each of the two lights to get it to turn each one to turn off and start to print. I have tried changing defaults settings for paper size etc but now no matter what application I am printing from it does the same. It only does it to start any document and once reset it will print the whole document no matter how many pages, and the even if the next document is one page it has to be done again. Every time I print a new doc it does it. please help Warmest regards
This is just a suggestion. I recently bought a Staples refilled cartridge and had to return it because it did not work. When returning it the Staples Rep said that 50% of the cartridges do not work and get returned. This was an astounding amount I told the rep. Means nothing to him but to you, you may need to return the black cartridge if it is or is not a refill and try it out again. Let me know if that works.

Could be a dirty scanner. Not much to check, it is a lamp issue.
You can try disconnecting the cables to the document feeder and scanner. The one on the right side of the machine, where the power cord, thats is odd to access and tighten often works loose.
Here is the entire documentation troubleshooting procedure, this is from the service manual.

Change the paper size in the program you are printing from and delete all paper size changes later than the beginning of the document.
Change it on your default printer and anywhere else you can.
Usually it is asking for different size of paper and will display this on the lcd

You can call and talk to Britt. I have done business with them for a long time.
