Hi,

if your PC is booting, then press F2 or delete tab to go to BIOS setup and then check if your HDD is detected in your system. if not check your HDD power and ide/sata cable.

if your pc is not really booting then check your power cable and your power supply. if you have some doubt with your power supply then buy a new one. if you have some old pc then replace the power supply. and try again. and by beef sound we can determine the problem of the pc. refer it to motherboard manuals.

I formatted Hard drive emachine T3304, Error message Bootmgr missing I want to install Windows 98

If you formatted the hard drive, you'll need to put the install disk in the CD to install Windows. But first make sure your machine is set to boot from the CD before it boots from the hard drive. You can do this from the setup menu (I think in an e-Machine you hit DEL or one of the special function keys on startup). Go to the startup option and set the CD as the initial boot device.
Your system may also offer the opportunity to press a special function key on startup to change the boot order for one time only.

Will motherboard will support winXP pro

Hi gimondor,

The motherboard really isn't your worry. Windows XP pro requires a 300 megahertz or higher processor. You motherboard can take from 100 to 400 megahertz, so you need to know what your CPU is. If your running an intel P4 chip, and at least 128 mbs of ram, and you have at least 2 gb's of hard drive space left on your hard drive, then you can run XP Pro.

Good Luck,

And please leave a rating based on my solution.

I need help

Hi,

You need a floppy drive and a startup disk, because that is the only thing that the motherboard will read (i think) in that kind of problem. But ok if you really dont have that items, try this disconnect all the motherboard connectors, like IDE, SATA, & POWERSUPPLY, also temporarily remove all hardware cards connected on motherboard like, Modem, LAN, Video Card, etc. Then you also need to remove the CMOS Battery, its like a silver coin on your motherboard, and also the Processor & Memory. Simple NO DEVICE MUST BE CONNECTED on your motherboard. Then just let your motherboard rest for alteast 1hr or 2hrs. After that, then assemble again your Computer. Be sure you know how to put it back together.

Intel 2.8G\400MHz problem

I would agree that 50% of the time you may get away with putting a working Hd with windows on it to run when changed to another board. When you change your motherboard, there are certain entries in the system registry that are looking for the components of the old motherboard. If the registry does not find these components, the system can become unstable.
The fact that you got windows to some what start is a good sign for the Hd. Try setting the CD as first boot device & have your windows XP in the drive. Do a format & install. I'm sure windows will install. Since you have three boards all the same you will only have to do this once. Foxconn warrants all Mb for life. You can always call at 580-272-0035
