The USB "Male" to USB "B" (Printer Connection) Cable you are seeking can be found at any local electronics retailer such as Best Buy, Circuit City, or Radio Shack. Online you can purchase it from retailers such as Geek.com, tigerdirect.com, or CompUSA.com which all will save you a few bucks. Your best savings will probably be realized by winning an aution listing on eBay but the savings are all relative to your immediate need for the cable and your use of the printer.

Using multiple HP printer models with same Windows XP laptop

I doubt there is a universal driver , however you could connect directly to your pc or via a router and share it over your home /business network, and access it them that way

is it a recent problem?

if it is check the printer cable , sometimes it builds ip static and by removing the cable and re inserting can rectify the problem.

Neddybear, turn on your laptop, then plug a usb cable from it to the printer. Turn on the printer and the drivers should download automatically.

Hp psc 1510 all in one printer

xax! as it seems u have tested a lot of thinks! :)
well, listen first of all if u have the cd of the VISTA instaligation pack u shoulld install it from there,
after that, u can tru to unplug the usb cable from ur computer so it has no conection att all, and when it says to plug ur printer, plug first into the printer and THEN into ur pc...(this is quite critical)
more over, do not be mad with the setup soft cause as it seems its not the best :S
e.g. ive instaled it 4 time to my pc cause i got an error in every step!!!

HP 1510 all in one

You need to delete all instances of your printer. Uninstall ALL HP software. Go to: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&h_client=S-S-R295-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=HP+PSC+1510+All-in-One&submit.x=8&submit.y=7 and download the newest drivers and the printer should install. Remember every update changes the OS drivers need to be kept updated to assure your machine runs. Good Luck, Tim
