Try F10 and see if you can boot a System Recovery. Or try F2 and see if you can change security/passwords.

Forgot admin password cannot how to reset admin password gateway lt2104u

Look on Ebay for a password reset disk. Many vendors on Ebay sell a bootable "linux" disk that you boot from and then you can edit your password file on Windows. I have versions for XP/ Vista.Windows 7.

Be sure to get one that works for your version of windows. You must set the BIOS to boot from the CD drive first for this to work. About $5 to $10 for the reset disk.

Windows+Pause, Advanced, 3rd "Parameters" button, change to 10 seconds.)

My computer won't boot, I just get a black screen that gives me two options, bios menu and something else f2 or F12

iF you cannot resume with the Operating system..try to go to Bios and set up the boot priority 1 = hard disc,

If this wont still work, your Operatiting system might be corrupted.. go to bios again and set up the boot priority 1 = cdrom.. next, try to insert the installation disc of your OS but do not install it, select option: REPAIR only.

If the cdrom would not boot, unplug the battery of the bios, then put it back again correctly. After this, boot again your cd.. Thanks..! dont forget to comment if you like my post.

2. Expand the "Drives" section

3. Go to "SATA Operation"

Bios bbot device proirity is missing

Try pressing F12 while booting or DEL etc. as some PC's have a seperate boot priority menu from the BIOS.  Once you can boot from the install cd you can use it to fix your master boot record by entering the recovery console and using the command fixmbr.  Hope this helps :)
