Problem with Motorola RAZR V3

Charging?

My home charger will not charge my cell phone, my friend told me this can be because of a shortage in the wires? I will not be able to go to town until Sunday, is there any other way that I can charge my razor phone? I don't have a house phone, so this is the only way for me to keep in contact with family, by the way, my sister is in the hospital, so this would mean a lot to me if someone could help me out! Please!

it can be a loose connection charging port on the phone or maybe your charger it self. try changing it out.

Do you have a car charger or try charging your razr via usb.

You should try using a USB cable. it worked for me.

go to store and see if it charging on their equipment, if yes, u may have cheap charger from China and it wan't start charging.

For any Motorola Phone esspecially the razor you must have a charger with an IC chip in it that tells it when to stop charging. It will save battery life and the the phones life.

well 1st if u have a metre check out whether your phone recieves voltage from charger or not if not the there could b few hardware problems.

1. the charging base might be dirty or broken clean eat using a brush by petrol or replace the base.

2. if charging base is ok, there might b a problem in charging base connector, clean it using heat gun.

3. if it still have problem then change your charging I.C i.e replace charging I.c with a new razor I.C.

V3 razors are known for frequent hardware problems like these. you're charger might be the problem as it is for most similar cases. just buy a new charger. check your battery life too.. if you over charge the razor, the battery life goes down considerably before u know it, and it affects the effectiveness of your charger.
this might be it, might be not.
good luck though

the only solution you can have is to buy universal charger!!!

Your battery may have a low voltage, you need to rejuvenat is unfortunatly you cant do that if you dont have tools to do it, but that will be your problem (Battery)

i want to charge my mp3 player

try to test your battery, clean it if possible no solvent or water added on a cloth.lift the battery connector, allign or resolder it. if it doesn't work again then you have to change the bat.

Hello. Either the connector on the bottom of the phone has become disconnected from the phone circuit board, or the charging circuitry is shot. Either way you'll need to have it checked out by a repair shop. Good luck.

always changing w/out the power

if you have a vehicle, you can buy a car charger for it

if thats the case?i will give you a two options: option 1,cut the end of your charger, tare the two wires apart the negative and the positive, tare the skin of the two wires so the cooper thing would come out, then plug the soccet in the outlet, then take out your phone battery, place the cooper positive end of the charger, usually the color of the skin of that is red, place it in the positive interface of the batery, and the other one (negative one), place it in the obcourse negative interface of the batery, in case you dont know where are the positive and negative of your batery? heres how you will know! take your batery facing you,the left side of the interface of the batery is the positve and the right is the negtive. i tough you the way to create a bateryshock out of a ordinary charger!
Option 2: if that doesn`t work? the main soocet of your charger is the problem. if you really know that your batery and phone is ok!? i suggest that you`ll have to buy a charger!thanks

I've got a similar problem with my k750, strange as it may seem I've had to resort to blowing really hard on the terminals at the bottom of the phone & then attaching the charging plug.. I think the small amount of moisture from my breath helps 'kickstart' the terminals into working.

I've been meaning to give the terminals a quick clean with metholated spirits but haven't got that far yet

I had the same problem, for some reason the car adapter and USB cable (connected to my computer) seemed to charge the phone while the home one didn't. Give it a try.

check your phone chager pin or k-fuse ic

if ur charger is having some problem than try to create some desktop charger than ur battery will b charged and u will be in contect with ur family.but unfortunatily nokia 1100 hasnot charging solution.

the problem may be in the charging connector .open the phone and clean the connector

open a handset and clean the metal contacts with thinner and clean the contacts of charging pins
