Question about Acer TravelMate 2413LCi Notebook
Ple help me!!
When do you have no display ? never ?
does it show the "acer" screen when switched on ? but the display disappears later?
the problem with laptops in general in everything is integrated, so you cant really remove something, swop it out and test it somewhere else... just doesnt work..
however, if you are sure you havent dropped it, sat on it, messed liquid on it, there is a good chance that the ribbon cable that leads from the main board of the laptop and carries the signal through to the display is loose or become unstuck. Any decent IT Tech should be able to check this for you, but if it is under warranty take it to ACER and have it fixed. If it is under warranty and you have either a faulty mainboard of faulty display you may be in for a shock. Since all parts are integrated its becomes costly, if data on it is important and the costs to repair are too high, ask a decent IT Tech dude to remoe the drive and make a backup for you which you can restore to another PC
