I've tried bitpim (but it keeps saying I have no phone connected) and even LG PC Suite, but it says that there is not phone connected as well! I don't understand what is going on. Am I supposed to set the com port? Because I have, and it still doesn't work!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. goodluck!

You can use LG suite or verizon's free program. Make sure you have the driver downloaded to your pc or it won't recognize your device. Also bitpim.org has a free program as well. Verizon's would work best.
You need to change the usb connection type on the LG. By default it is set to "mass storage", if you change it in your "connection" setting to "data storage" when you next plug in your phone, it will have all of the PC Suite settings available without any grayed out non-functionality.
if you live in the states, and have a Verizon version... you can get them easily on your p[hone... use a program called BitPim... but follow the instructions and dont break your phone.... but if you have a bell version then Bitpim wont work and i guess the company that has bitpim for sale is currently trying to get on that one
I can Help. First of all, dont pay a cent to verizon, i have had issues with them for a while about overcharges. Anyway...
Download a program called " Bitpim " Its free, or " ImTOO3gp " i got IMToo3gp from " the pirate Bay . com, using a bit torrent, the bitpim is from a site that downloads straight to P.C.
Hook your phone to your P.C. Via Cable. What i did is i bought the verizon package for there VCAST music sync. It has the P.C. Drivers for your phone but there built into the program so you have to install it, but dont actually use the program. once thats installed, hook the phone to the P.C. and you can use Bitpim to download all the data from your phone, the " ImToo3gpp also works but instead of hooking the phone, you take your Micro SD, put it in the bigger holder that should have come with it, get a USB media port that fits the SD card 9 got mine at wallmart for $13. once you connect it, it shows up as another drive on your P.C. like a Pin drive. Then you can covert the music and put the destination folder as the SD's music folder and the program automatically converts it. It pretty sweet and helpull. i was able to drop MP3's and i was able to make ringtones. You have to have a little working knowledge of converting files. The ringtones use MPEG 3 or 4 files and you have to put them in your " MY_SOUNDS" folder that the phone created on the Micro SD, dont drop them in the music folder or youll get ringtones playing in your songs list.
I was able to Make 3gpp2 Files of the ventuire brothers and have movies on my phone also but its tricky.
Your phone doesn't need or have any special software to transfer music. When you phone is connected, it should show up as a removable disc. Then all needs to be done it is drag and drop (or copy/paste) from your computer. Good luck!
