What Operating System do you have running on your computer? Moreover, does your wireless device notify you of being in range of a wireless network when your computer first boots up?

First check that the drivers for your wifi is installed or not , in device manager, if installed then switch on the wifi button, it will search for the network in range then select connect option

The wireless switch is at the front side of your Lenovo 3000 N100. (see pic.1). Press Fn+F5 to confirm if your wireless switch is on. If required, switch on the physical switch for your wireless connection.

Lenovo 3000 v100

go to control panel then select programs and features, uninstall lenovo readycomm and restart pc. If you still have the same problem, uninstall the wireless driver in device manager and restart your computer. Restarting the computer would automatically install the driver that you removed earlier.

You can also update your drivers from the lenovo website:

Prob to get wireless internet connection of lenevo 3000 N100

Hmmm 3000 N100 comes by default with the Intel wireless 3945abg. There is a problem with the XP driver that you can grab off their website I fear, that is probably why it worked in vista, but not in xp. Had a lot of users coming to me with this issue

Try replacing your driver with this driver:

That one should be the most up to date driver. Please get back to me if this resolved the issue or not. If not, then tell me if you see even the available wireless networks or not at all. Does the network card show up fine in the device manager or do you got any marks on it like a red cross or a question mark?

If the solution helped, please rate me. :)
