Hello there!

Unfortunately,Dota 2 was only available to Windows and Ubuntu. You should try redownloading it,since it's now out for Linux(Your OS).If that doesn't work, you might aswell be updating your graphics driver from
Support.amd.com

Cheers,
Aldo.

I have xfx geforce 8800 gs it,s fan working but dont show me display what should i do it,s dead or out of order please help me ASAP it,s utmost request to you

Hi viveksingh,

If you can remove your graphic card to your PC, clean the gold plated conductor fins of the card using pencil eraser.
Afterwards, place it again carefully to the slot.
Reboot your PC and see if it has display already.
If not, it seems like you need to replace your existing graphic card with new.

Hope this helps you a lot.

Thank you for using FixYa!

Hi, My laptop shows black pixels green, and white ones purple! It shows everything very bad as I turn it on! even the black boot page is green! :( Please help me tosolve this problem. thanx.

Hi:
One way to narrow down the problem is to plug an external monitor up to your laptop, and see how the display looks on it. you can toggle the display to external or both. On my laptop I hit my function key, then F8, but your model might be different. If the external display has bad color, your laptop graphics card is bad, and if the external display is fine, you have a bad LCD on your laptop!

When i install the card and load the display drivers, all i get is 4bit at 640 by 480 pixels??

vmaurel30, it sounds like the wrong drivers are being loaded.

It would be very helpful is we knew what type of operating system you are using, but here is the best place to get drivers:
Windows XP/Vista/7 32bit:

Problem with a video card

Try reseating the card. (With the computer unplugged, remove the card from it's slot and plug it back in again. Do this about 5 times in a row.) Thiswill clean the contacts. If it still fails, try a different monitor to see if that is the problem. If you have access, try a different card. This way you can determine the failing component.

Pixel shader

A pixel shader computes color and other attributes of each pixel. Pixel shaders range from always outputting the same color, to applying a lighting value, to doing bump mapping, shadows, specular highlights, translucency and other phenomena. A pixel shader alone cannot produce very complex effects, because it operates only on a single pixel, without knowledge of a scene's geometry or of neighboring pixels. A pixel shader is a computation kernel function. Pixel shaders can alter the depth of the pixel (for Z-buffering), or output more than one color if multiple render targets are active

Garbled display with Geforce 7600GS

From experince I would still say this is a heat issue, I just went though this with my HD4870 ATI card. I was using an after market cooler wich was insuficent for cooling. All the symptoms point to a heat issue. Also since the card is 2 years old, its a good chance the VRM's have fried and any heat causes the card to basicaly shutdown in a manner of speaking. you could try getting the Accelero S1 cooler that would replace the fan on the card, then attach 2X120mm fans. Only problem is you can buy a newer better card. for example the 8600 GT is about 80-90$

Hi.

Your problem is with your graphic card.
Seeing that it shows an error of pixel shader 1.1 i can only guess that either you are using video card provided by compaq.
