look even closer and it should be a quick yellow flash between the green and red lights its known as the yellow light of death and there is very little you yourself unless familiar with the internal workings of the ps3 with any luck you will not of had a disc left inside hope this helps and good luck :)
Does the yellow light come on when charging? Could be that the fuse for the charging circuit has gone, or on of the screens has been damaged. If it's only 4 months old and not been dropped etc, send it back to Nintendo I'd have thought.
Im afriad your going to have to buy a new playstation3 console. Sony no longer produce 60Gb consoles and they will not replace or repair your console. Im guessing youve had your 60Gb for over one year so theres no warranty.
Sad to say but you have to buy a new one. eBay have some good offers. ;)
My first ps3 did the same thing. From Sony, this is a heat sensor issue that is a problem with the ps3. The system thinks it is overheating so it wont turn on. If the system is new or you bought the extended warrenty take it back to the store, if not, contact sony directly and ship it back to them, they will have to fix it. This sucks, i know, sorry to hear it happened to yout too. Good luck
