Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

My songs wont add onto my sandisk sansa mp3 player

I am getting really frusterated. :(

ok, so my mp3 player wont let me add any more songs on it. i have 383 songs and its a 4gb so it can have a lot more songs.

whenever i sync songs onto it, it says on Windows media player that the songs are "already on device" but when i try listening to the newly added music on the player itself the songs are not there.

i already tried going into tools>options>sandisk player, and then unchecking that heirarchy of folders thing, but it was grey and unclickable so i couldnt do that.

i tried deleteing songs because i thought that maybe my songs were too long and that was taking up space and that isnt the problem either

help me please!! :(

What format are the songs you're not able to hear? It's possible that the songs are not in a format the Sansa can play.

Also, you can navigate your Sansa like a removable drive. Try going to "My Computer" and looking to see what's actually on the drive.

Cant get itunes songs.

The iTunes osngs are in AAC format - you need to reformat them as Mp3's or WMA's - get an AAC to Mp3 Converter from the web if need be.

Deleteing songs

You can delete them thru My Computer. Double click on the Sansa (m200), inside you will see a Music Folder. Inside is your individual tracks, separated by album names. You can add or delete all music from here. Best of Luck.

Open the device under My Computer. Your music is in the Music folder. Select the songs to copy, right click on one and select COPY. Select the destination folder on your computer and right click an select PASTE. This should copy all of your music to your PC. If you are receiving an error about "administrator rights" you need to change the Windows User account to the Administrators account. Please add to the question, if you need more assistance. Sansa e200 wont load music

Check if the player is in Autodetect/MTP then try retransferring the songs on the player. And before unplugging the player from the computer check if the files are transferred to the player click on the sansa e200 player on the left window to check if it had really transfferred the songs to the player. If it still wont work, try trasnferring songs using windows media player.
