SOURCE: I lose wireless connectivity on my home network 3-4 times a day.

Depending on which brand of Router that you have you need to go to 192.168.1.1 in the address bar in your internet explorer. This will prompt you for a password. Try leaving the Username blank and use admin as the password. IF these don't work, tell me the brand of your router and I will tell you which will. Once inside the router page look for a tab called wireless. Try changing the "wireless signal" of your router. Alot of time these routers run at 2.4GHZ which is fairly close to the frequency on a cordless phone. The phone may be causing interferrence. Try A) moving phone very far away from router, or B) inside that Wireless tab page change the frequency to something other than what it is already.

How do I improve the Bluetooth Range?

<p>Bluetooth technology allows electronic devices for wireless communication. No more computers connected by cables to printers or headsets for mobile phones to work. Bluetooth uses tiny chips and recipients for the devices to "talk" to each other. Once a connection is established between devices, Bluetooth provides a wireless network to perform tasks. This technology is relatively inexpensive and generally are included in most laptops, cell phones and other consumer electronics. But Bluetooth is limited by several problems, and most devices have more than 30 meters away at work. I have a belkin wireless G+ router work with a power link adapter?

Just use the unused one to create an access point. To do so you need to login on the web UI of the router and change to an access point instead of a infrastructure.

Thompson TG782T boost wireless transmission around home

The device does not have removable antennae so it isn't as easy as getting a more powerful antennae and connecting it. You would have to get something called a range extender or signal booster. These can act as an access point/repeater or just a repeater between access points.
I would suggest the kind that act as an access point/repeater and configuring them to connect to your wireless. They will provide coverage in the same manner as your router in that a certain distance from the access point will have optimal signal strength.

Can I boost signal strength?

You will need to get hold of a Belkin Wireless G Universal Range Extender relays the signals of your wireless network and extends its range model number F5D7132 from PC world or another online dealer.

You will still need the wireless router as the central connection point, using the booster your network now reaches further I have one at the top of the stairs with the Router downstairs to I can browser wirelessly in the loft conversion of my old house

Not getting good signal strength frm router with wirless computer

There are signal boosters and repeaters available, but generally run in the $250 range for decent ones. What you can do is get a wireless access point installed. It requires an ethernet cable to the router to connect it, but you can put that in the house close to where you are and feed off of it.

PS3 and thompson ST585v6

So the WLAN is red, it means that there's no wireless connection from your router.

I might advise you to reconfigure the RCA on the wireless settings.

for the PS 3 there are port that you can gather with your PS 3 manufacturer to open on the router, it might help the PS 3 to go online simultaneously.

Low signal so cant get internet 52 mbs adapter

you can increase the RX-TX power of your router. Some routers come with option that you can increase the range of them not. However Open source solutions are doing well like www.dd-wrt.com depends on your router it can cascade the the range many times. Alternate solution is to get 2X - 4X Range WiFi adaptors that can be extended by booster antennas. Good Luck

Poor wirless signal

Hi HHC,

You can try resetting the Westell to defaults, but pressing a thin pin, (Paperclip works great!) into the reset hole, in the back, and holding it in for 10 sec. You could also try using the lowest channel you. Most Westell's I have worked with have good wireless range, though. Test your laptop at a nearby hotspot, i.e. Starbucks. McDonalds, etc. If it is not the laptop, (Averatec laptops have horrible range!) and the reset don't fix it, have it replaced.

Good Luck!
