We have a George Foreman grill Model GR144. We bought it at the Wal-Mart in Canon City, Co. on 02/28/11. We have only used it four times. The last time we used it on 06/20/11, it cooked the hamburgers...

The grill is not heating because the heating element of the grill is either defective, or there is a disconnection of wires connected to the heating element. Heat coming from the grill can melt the wire if it is close to it. But if problem is not from the wire, then the heating element is defective and needs replacement.

First, have the wires checked to make sure it's not disconnected. Also, check other parts to make sure there are intact.

Get a screw driver, disassemble the grill, check the wires connected to the heating element. If wires are intact, then you need to replace the heating element.

If you cannot perform the above task, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a family or friend that has the ability to help you out.

I wish you the best of luck.

Currently not available online for purchase. I suggest keeping an eye on Ebay, and local closeout stores. I have one almost the same size and I love it; I understand your interest in this item!

Foreman gv5 grill just stoped working

There is a thermal fuse in series with the heating coils inside. You will have to disassemble it, find the fuse, take it to an electric supply house and get a replacement. Some soldering "may" be necessary.

Grill buzzing

No, a buzzing noise merely means that something is vibrating from the magnetic field that is created when power flows through the heating elements. As long as nothing is obviously loose, the grill is safe to use.

Wolfgang Puck 781698 Indoor griddle plug

I dropped mine from the top shelf of my pantry and need to buy a new one. The plug was not damaged, so if you need one, you have mine. I can't find parts anywhere. Leave your email address if you still need it, and will respond in a few days.

Foreman Grill GR36CB stopped working

Foreman grills have a fuse on the circuit board, have you popped that section open to visually check the fuse? It could be that simple. Fuses do wear down over time, so depending on how much wear and tear you put in, it could just have broken on its own.

Of course, if you replace the fuse and it still goes, you'll need to double-check to see what's shorting it out. The unit may be dead but I wouldn't bet on it.

No power or anything - unit is dead

do this test for heating coil: connect a second ac supply cord directly to the coils wires. does it heat? if so, a fix is feasible. the problem is either the thermostat or a blown component on the board. neither are easy

Grill died

Contact these guys; and they should be able to give you a repair centre list - i think you are right about the board - if you can post again with the board number we can try to source it seperately Hope this helps :)
