We solved this by holding in the door/light switch, hitting "clean", then pressing stop/clear for about 3 seconds.

Lg oven not heating after self cleaning. code f9

F9 stands for oven no heating. It will be displayed if oven temperature readout when oven temperature doesn't exceed 150F/66C in less than 5 minutes from set time. I would say you may have a heating element malfunction..

Jennair oven 8114 p472-60 or p458-60 f9 error code

The F9 error code for this model number Jenn-air range indicates a door lock issue. The control sees it as locked, unlocked, or both at the same time.

The technical manual instructs us to check the wiring to and from the door lock mechanism and if no issues are found replace the motorized door lock.

Maytag range model mer6750 - I tried to open the oven door too soon after a self cleaning cycle Now door won't open and fault code F9-2 appeared. What to do? THANK YOU

Try unplugging the oven from the electrical power. May release the lock, which is held in place by a tiny micro switch. If not and while the electric is still off or the oven is unplugged, use a bright light flashlight to look through the slot where the lock is in the oven, not in the door.
You may be able to use a thin blade screwdriver to move the lock to the release position. Check the angle of the lever. A slightly bent lever handle also can cause this type of condition.

If all else fails, remove the access panel on the front of the oven to access the locking device and release it. May have to disconnect the wires to the lock which will allow door to function but not during any self cleaning modes.

F9 Door Lock Warning Check door lock circuit or Replace Clock
F-2 Oven temperature sensed by electronic control Replace the clock/relay board.
Here is the part you need to order.

I was baking at 350degrees. My oven turned itself off and the error code F9-3 is flashing. please assist if abe.

Hello,

The F9-3 error code means that either of the two oven self clean latches is stuck so ya need to check and see in both ovens if their is something from obstructing the lacth

if you also get a F9-4 that would mean its just the lower oven

a F9-5 would be just the upper oven

but for the F9-3 it could be either oven

I have the code F9 what can I do

F9 usually means that the oven lock is partially engaged after cleaning. Normally, the door unlocks automatically after the cleaning cycle is through. Unplug or turn the oven off a the breaker switch. Leave it off for a moment. When you turn it back on, the error should resolve. As a caution, unlock problems are notorious after cleaning, a long with fried electronic controls. Clean sparingly. Thanks for using fixya.

I get failure code F9-3

What a scam by service personnel.
-Simply press "Stop/Clear", then gently push the door handle until "Lock" appears on the screen. Press "Stop/Clear" again and the door unlocks itself!

F9-4 when cleaning upper oven

its related to the self clean ltach motr, if you pull hte unit out and drop teh rear panel, approx halh way down on theright side( when behind unit) thers asmall lock mechinisn mavbe 1.5 round, with a connecting rod 2 wires and a witch, well that motor sometimes as it heats looses connection with the switch. the switch is monitoring door positoin so if it loses contact it thinks the door is open and will trigger a code. the entire latch is replacabel (FRont to back comesa sone assy latch motor swittch and rod. 2 wires connect it and 2 screws(by front latch secure it. if youtry to replaceit your self i giveyou the heads up to lie a yard stick on top of latch before removing old latch (thos will keep the insulation in place) andthen when installe ing new latch also use hte ayrd stick ontop to keep insulation inplace!!!!!
