Question about GE JVM1630 Microwave Oven
I would check the area around the ceiling of the microwave. There may be grease of other food buildup on the waveguide cover. Or the stirrer may be sticking or arcing, which would need to be replaced. This unit may be subject to post-manufacturing modifications, requiring a few new parts. You might check on this with GE Customer Relations at 1-800-386-1215 (8-6 ET). If they cover the cost of parts, great. If not, you can get them cheaper here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383 Feel free to see my site for my safety & disassembly files.
