Hi, check whether the PC microphone has been enabled. You can do this by double-clicking on speaker icon on your pc, click on options, properties, recording control, select Line-In or Internal Mike. Try recording a test video. It should work now.

Fully, uninstall your drivers from Device Manager...then connect to internet and let the Vista detect the drivers automatically. Normally this is caused by Windows updates.
Sadly it looks like Trust camera does not work with Vista, however there no harm pluging the camera and letting Vista look for a driver by telling it to use the net,

If it is listed in the display for Computer" in Windows Explorer, clicking on it should open the camera.
If it is not there in the list of drives, then its drivers may not be installed. Get the drivers of your camera for Vista and install them. Now you should be able to use the camera.
What operating system on the computer? Windows or Mac? XP or Vista? Brand of webcam?
If you are using Win XP or Vista, goto Start, All programs, look for the Brand of webcam you are using. Click on the program, there should be a set up window somewhere for adjusting the light levels.
You would need to download and install the Windows Vista driver from the webcam manufacturers website. You should be able to find it by clicking on the support link and looking up your specific model #. Hope this helps.

check the settings for the cam/mic in the audio/video tab in messenger and run a test. then check the settings on your pc are set to allow programs to take control of this device.
Uninstall Windows Vista. Do a fresh install of Windows XP Professional Sp2. Download XP drivers and install camera. Many software programs have trouble initializing in Windows Vista. Good luck!
