Gas fireplace pilot goes out

I have a Monessen 28,000 btu gas fireplace. The pilot keeps going out. It will stay lit for 2-3 cycles of the fan, then goes out. I have to click the piezo 10-15 times to get the pilot lit again, then it will go olut again after 2-3 fan cycles. I can't find any info on the internet on how to troubleshoot this problem...HELP....

Pilot light stays lit but burner on gas logs goes out

You may need a new pilot assembly. Typically one of two issues result from a bad pilot assembly:
1. The pilot won't stay on after lighting it
2. Pilot stays on but logs won't light.

Depending on the unit, you may need a new thermopile or a whole new pilot assembly.

Mmonessen MODEL DIS33N PILOT WILL NOT STAY LITE

Is the flame [when lit] in contact with the thermocouple? Does the flame hit the thermal couple and climb it? How long do you attempt to heat it up before allowing it to run on its own?

If the flame is correct placement, color, and contact with the thermocouple and you've attempted to light it and had it running manually for 30 secs or more ... you may need a new thermocouple and/or pilot assembly. If unsure, have a certified technician come out and examine it for you.

Pilot light wont stay lit on gas fireplace

Contact the Monessen site below and they might be able to help you or get you in touch with a dealer in your area to fix the issue. I know there was a recall on the Monessen remote systems a while back and your system might be part of that recall. Get with Monessen directly to find out. Hope this helps. http://monessenhearth.com/customer-care/

I changed my thermocouple on my fireplace,it still wont stay lit

Thermocouple keeps the pilot lit.
Thermopile keeps the burner lit.
Please specify what won't stay lit...
If it's the burner, you may need to change the thermopile as well.
If the pilot still won't stay lit, you will want to make sure that the pilot flame is large enough to completely engulf the thermocouple and keep it hot. If it's too small, you may need to take some compressed air and blow out the pilot hood to remove any blockage.

Remove the small copper colores tubing going from the gas valve to the pilot assembly. Take it to a good hardware store that sells heaters and ask them for a new one.It is called a thermocouple.

Gas fireplace pilot flame won't stay lit.

Hi , you can try and pull the panel on the bottom of fireplace out and check the adapter in fireplace. Sometimes they go bad. When you open in also check to see if there is an adapter plugged in and a option to use the battery operated function. If this goes bad the pilot will not stay lit.
