Question about Philips GoGear HDD6330 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Reversed screen I bought this player 3 days ago, and for no apparent reason the screen seems to have inverted itself. I restored the factory settings, but it did nothing about my problem. I also took it to the store where I bought it, but all they recommended was that I wipe all my songs off.

My sons 10" Zeepad has a flipped/ mirrored screen, even the touch screen buttons are do I get the settings back? I've restored several times..& it won't reset or restore to factory..?

Try pressing "Ctrl" and "Alt" at the same time. Whilst holding these 2 buttons down also press one of the arrow buttons. The arrow down flips the screen upside down, the up flips it right way up, the right to the right and left to the left. This is a great trick to mess somebody's screen without doing any damage. If they don't know about it, it really messes with you my well have found out. Good luck.

I just purchased a Sandisk sonsa fuze+ I tried to have everything in English, however, there seems to be different languages on the screen along with English language. Is this normal and if it is not, how...

When you go in to the settings menu and set language to english it is needed to save this changes.
When you are finished personalizing your settings, press and hold the Back button to return to the main menu. Your changes will be saved automatically.
If your problem persist you could make a reset Factory Settings.
This will restore the player to its original factory settings.
1. Select Restore.
2. Use touch-pad to highlight Yes then press the Select button.
I hope your player will work fine again.

Completely Wacky 'Sansa e260'

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings. That will be the only way

IPod Touch pauses itself

This can be caused by the audio jack, if it doesn't sit tight anymore, the headphone becomes disconnected for small periods of time causing the iPod to detect the headphone as unplugged, hence it will pause. Try different headphones, especially nickel plated ones and make sure there's a tight fit. If that doesn't help the jack needs replacement. If you're out of warranty you can send it to a third party iPod Repair Service.

My ipod nano has a white screen

Try this - it at least seems to have fixed the same problem, at least for now, with my 2nd generation Nano:

1. When you see the white screen, hold down both the Play and Select buttons together, pressing the Play button a little bit before the Select button.
2. When the white screen goes to black, release the two buttons almost simultaneously with the Select button released slightly before the Play button.
3. Hopefully, if done with the right timing, you should get your normal screen back. If not, try switching the Hold on and off or changing the starting mode by listening through headphones to see if it is playing or not.
4. Once you have recovered the screen, plug it into your computer to sync without turning it off and perform a complete sync. After I did this my Nano stayed in the normal screen mode. Before I had done this step, it kept reverting to the white screen.

One more thing to try if this still doesn't work is to first try restoring the Nano completely through iTunes.

I'll be interested to hear whether my solution works for anyone else.

Downlaod-error messege when attempting to reset iPod classis

If when you have a new ipod and you connect it to a computer, if the first computer you connect it to is a mac, then that is the only type of pc it will work with after that. If you want it to connect it to a windows, you will have to restore it which will allow it to work with windows software. For some reason unknown, mac and windows have different loading software for the ipod and has to be re-installed with a restore before it can work with a different operating system. When it restores on your computer, check to make sure it has a strong internet connection. You should be able to restore after that.

I had the "Factory Diag Mode" and was dismayed that I could not find a solution in any of my online searches. But I finally got it to work with only a minor side-effect, so I thought I'd share.

I originally tried the following from the "Live XM" mode:
Go settings, setup, restore defaults, restore setting only.

That didn't seem do anything for me. Then I tried the same thing from the "My Music" mode.
That fixed it!!!
The only thing that I noticed that I lost was my channel favorites (hardly a worry at all). All of my saved songs and playlists are still there!!!

Hopefully this will help a poor soul in need
