Unfortunately, JVC service manuals are not usually available outside of Authorized service centers. That being said, anyone that services TVs should have seen similar symptoms on other sets and should be able to "fix" this one even without a schematic. Call around. In the meantime, I'll look into this a bit more.

Please take the tv to a repair shop or call and or take the tv to the place of purchase for warranty repairs or if no warranty exits contact the shop and ask about repairing the tv.

You could also buy a new tv.

The problem is clearly a hard one and pressing a few buttons wont solve it.

hi this as a problem with your convergence ic they will need replacing this is a common fault with these types of tv nearly every problem on this site is the same as yours eventually your telly will stop working all together but if this happens you will then need to replace some resistors as well as these tend to go with the convergence ics so this will also need to be checked if you are unable to do this repair yourself then the cheapest way is to take the telly to repair shop yourself as calling someone out will charge call out and will also charge for transporting witch can ad 75 pound onto the price of repair.
It is very common problem so the repair shop should have no problem sourcing parts for you best thing to do is shop around and get the best price you can tell them what the problem is and this will stop them charging for finding the fault just say someone looked at it for you and told you what needed repairing as sometimes they will try confusing you with unecasarry repairs let me know if you can do the repair yourself but only if you have correct equipment to test all parts needed hope this is some help to you

My rca L32HD31 tv stopped working suddenly no sound no picture just A yellow light on I took it to repair center said it was the converter and can"t get part I am A recovering cancer patient hardly watched...

With no sound and no picture it would not be the INVERTER, (no such part as "converter") You have a main board problem and it would cost around $300 to fix. These flat panel sets only last about 2 years, as much as they cost! You need to get a older type CRT television, pawn shops, tv shops, and yard sales have these, they are made much better than these newer sets and last 10 to 15 years or more. They also can be cheaply repaired when they breakdown.

My toshiba 57hdx82 has a wavy picture at the top and the rest of the screen jumps. I was told that the pic tube needed to warm up but the tv has been on for a day now and no change. Can you tell me whats...

Hi,
Replace all leaky electrolytic capacitors on Hyper Board in TV, wavy picture problem will be solved.
If you are not comfortable with soldering parts in circuit board, call tech to do it.
Thanks.

Picture looks like it is jumping

Sounds like a vertical sync issue on the chassis board. However you also mentioned the picture moves left to right or vice versa which would suggest a horizontal sync issue. Either issue is not repairable by the DIY. Sync issues must be isolated using test equipment usually found in repair shops. My suggestion push it down a hill and enjoy the show then go buy that flat screen you almost purchased last week.
