It sound like your getting AC noise, chances are you have some dried out capacitors

los parlantes no aguantan la potencia del equipo y hace saltar la proteccion del mismo apagandolo para no quemar el amplificador.

SOURCE: can I use 6 ohm speakers on my 8 ohm aiwa

Hello
You can use 6Ohms speaker in place of an 8Ohms speaker. No damage will occur to the set, but the quality of sound output will be a little bit less and the output will be a little bit high. OK.

My av-d30 was orking one day and the next day it wouldn't power on is there a fuse or breaker switch somewhere?

There should be one either on the back of the unit or inside the unit on the C-board.

I turn the unit on and it works for about a minute then powers down. The red light stays on. If I hit power button again it works but for less than a minute and it powers down again. Any suggestions?

try to check speaker wiring connection for possible short ckt. also check speaker itself, this amplifier have protection ckt that make unit off soon as short ckt detected.

My aiwa av-x200 click right off when I turn it on, Im thinking it is a blown fuse or something, anybody fixed any receiver with this problem?

The unit is going into protection mode. There is a fault detected in either the power supply or an overload on the output circuitry. Remove all connections to the amp (ie speakers, dvd players etc etc) Turn the unit on. If it still turns off the problem is internal and should be looked at by a qualified technician.

Aiwa receiver won't turn on

Hello:

This looks like its displaying the Time format. Try disconnecting all speaker one a time and turning on the unit to see if it turns off. Disconnect one speaker at a time and turn the unit on. If it turns off with only one speaker conn then this speaker is your problem. Amps will shut down if a speaker goes bad. Another thing to try is disconnecting all inputs and speakers from the unit and see if it stays on. Then reconnect them one at a time while watching what the unit does during power up. Also you might want to open the device and check for blown fuses. Check for any speaker terminal wires touching each other if so it will shut down thinking there is a short.

There may be a short circuit in the speaker terminals.

Disconnect all speakers and try it. If it works troubleshoot each speaker one at a time. Shorted wires are indicated.
