Hi. If you bought it new then your dealer should have set all of the system options for you so it is strange that the tax is not programmed. Normally you would only need to set the rate when your tax rate changes. Has it been calculating tax at all? Did it come from your dealer with a standard program in it?

Hi ! I'm using a Casio TE 2400 cash register, I'm trying to change my 6% tax back to 0% tax rate Due to my country new law . Tq so much for the help

The TE-2400 uses programming sequences from the manual if you want to set it yourself. You can turn each tax on or off in the departments or set the rates with codes. This site has the special dealer manual and they can show you how to use it if you have trouble with the codes https://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_and_TE-2400_dealers_manual.html
Hope it helps

I have a TE-2200 Casio cash register. I try to program in tax rate and nothing happens. Can someone help

If you have changed the tax rate, it should print out the change you made to confirm the change as soon as you finish programming. After that, it should use the new rate. If it is not adding tax to items, make sure you have linked the tax rate to the items in PLU or dept programming (whichever you are using)

Casio TE 2200 0 instead of 0.00 I just bought the new te 2200 but i can not programing. is that the problem with mac code ?

Yes. This machine has not had a RAM clear and system settings performed. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to perform the dealer programming on it, then you can program the user data for products etc yourself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If anyone needs a Casio TE-2200 manual, go here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_TE-2200_users_manual.html

How to program tax on a casio te 8700f register

Hi.
I have never heard of an 8700. I have info on the 8000 and 8500 so it may be similar to one of these. If it has never been programmed to use tax before, then I will need to know how your tax system operates. Do you use add-on, or add-in tax, how many rates? Are all PLUs taxed, or just some?

CASIO TE-3000s , i would like to change the tax rate on my "grocery tax" button.

Hi.
Try turning the key to program mode then,

type new rate (you may have to add decimal places such as 8.00 or 8.000)
Then press your grocery tax button
Then press SUBTOTAL

Turn back to REG mode, and try it.

Let me know if it doesn't work.
