How do i connect my acer aspire 5315 to my tv it starts and after 10 seconds gos to bluescreen

Acer Aspire 5315 doesn't come with an HDMI port. So, you have the following options:
1. Use a VGA Cable to connect the PC to TV if the TV has PC-Input facility
2. Use an S-Video cable to the TV's S-Video-in port if the TV has it

3. Use and S-Video to HDMI converter if the TV has HDMI port

for audio, you can use 3.5mm to RCA (Red/White) connector to connect to TV's audio-in port.

Try re-booting, if that fails pull the plug from AC , remove battery, hold down on/off button for 10 seconds, plug into AC boot normally.

Right-mouse click anywhere on your Windows "wallpaper".
Click Properties.
Click Settings.
Do you see an image of ONE or TWO screens?
Click "Extend my Windows desktop onto the (SECOND) screen".

Remove the battery and ac adapter. Press power button for 10 seconds then connect the ac adapter. Turn on the system. If this didn't work. You need to go to a service center to test your motherboard.

Use a cable out of the headphone jack with an adapter to the red and white (left and right) audio jacks of your TV.

first, check for VGA drivers, make sure all installed and updated (or SV-) then go to your desktop properties and make sure you have selected the second moniter through the port your using.

I would start by doing a search on Ebay. Often times you can get parts or a damaged laptop with parts for a very reasonable price. I just did a search for your laptop model and found a damaged Acer Aspire 5315 for $81. As of this posting on 10/31 at 9:10 am CST time, the auction ends in 2 hrs.

After doing a quick internet search, I found a web site called http://www.screencountry.com and I saw a monitor for your model listed at $99.

I actually contacted Acer by email for this and got a reply in less than a day.

Try the steps below for a power reset, to eliminate a hardware problem with your notebook:

1. Disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds then release it. (You will not see anything happen)

4. Connect the AC Adapter to the laptop. Make sure the AC Adapter is plugged in.

5. Turn the computer on as normal.

6. Once Windows boots, insert the battery.

If you want to reset the notebook all you do is remove the battery and press the on button for 20 seconds this will reset the cmos do not connect the AC adaptor while doing this
