It's your video properties that's messed up.

align your head with the tilted screen.
right click on the blank space of the desktop and click on Properties.
click on the Settings tab then click the Advance button at the bottom.

Some video cards support the rotation of the image on your computer screen. You'd use this if you a monitor that can also rotate. Web designers and artists use this, as an example, to check long pages. It would appear that you managed to press CTRL + ALT + Left Arrow.
To correct this problem simply click CTRL + ALT + Up Arrow

I use samsung netbook nc110, it works normally until I play a video and the screen goes black and won't come back to normal. I bought it 9 months ago and this begin happening last week. Any solutions?

You can use an external monitor to test it. If the external screen does not display anything, then your GPU and or motherboard is dying. If your netbook works good with the external monitor, then your screen is dead.
You can check the operating system and application using this Norton Utilities:

Disable safe mode

Which operating system and do you have Norton antivirus ???
Turn Off Safe Mode

You rebooted your PC at least 10 times now, and still it refuses to start in anything other than Safe Mode.
Your many attempts to perform a system restore have yet to be victorious. It just will not boot up normally.
According to Microsoft, if you have Norton Antivirus 2001 installed on your computer, it is the root of the problem. Microsoft suggests you disable it.

Restart your computer. Let it load completely in Safe Mode.
Press "Run" on your Start menu.
Once you see the Open box, enter into the provided text box: misconfig.
Then press "Enter" or Select "OK."
Select on the new dialog box that has appeared "Selective Startup."
Select "NAVAP.VxD" on the Static VxD tab.
Remove the check in the check box you now see.
Select "OK."
Remove the check in the check box next to Norton Auto Protect.
Select "OK."
Reboot your system and it will be in Normal Mode.
Turn Off Safe Mode in Windows XP
The purpose of booting your computer in safe mode is to resolve issues.
Only your basic, most dire drivers and programs will run to block viruses and surreptitious software from executing on your system.
But once the issue is resolved, you need to get back to the standard Windows mode. In order to turn off safe mode in Windows XP, you must go through the same steps that you took to turn it on.

Reboot your Windows system.
Press the "F8" key several times as soon as you see the first Windows XP logo appear on your screen as the computer is booting.
This will bring up a black screen that displays the "Windows Advanced Options Menu."
Press the down arrow button on your keyboard to scroll down the list.
Select "Start Windows Normally" and then hit "Enter."
Allow the system to boot.
Enter your Windows XP user password (if you set one) and log in as usual.

Windows Vista - No internet-no backup

Sometimes after you install Norton antivirus products, most notably Norton System works, the firewall included with the antivirus will block the internet from working properly. Right click on your Norton Icon on the right side of your task bar & turn norton off. Try your internet again. You may have to close & re-open Internet explorer after you shut off your norton. The other thing is you could remove your firewall entirely, as your router should have a firewall in it, and if you are using win xp, it also has a firewall. This kind of configuration sometimes causes some rather unusual effects.

Hey guys i help

Hi d_smog,
If you can make it to windows then go to start-run and type 'chkdsk' and hit enter. That will run check disk.
But I don't think that running a check disk will solve the problem, I am guessing that could be either a virus; because you tell me that norton went down at the same time your PC went down, in this case I recommend formating the drive; or it could be that your PC's cooler stopped working and the PC is overheating which causes an automatic shutdown to prevent the components from breaking down, in this case I recommend testing your PC's cooler and changing it if necessary.

New Dell desktop computer - installed Norton Security 2007 - sreensaver and energy modes don't work

Since Norton and many other virus protection programs run in the background of the computer, when you try to go into standby mode, or screen saver mode, the program is recognized as an action by the user, hence triggering the computer to return to normal use. So all you have to do is turn off Norton before you go into standby mode, and this should fix the problem.
