Question about Mitsubishi WS-65613 65" Rear Projection HDTV
I recently aquired this tv free off craigslist. Tv is in outstanding shape. Only problem is the tv after turning it on goes into a rolling horizontal to the left displaying " please insert card into slot ", when I access the tv menus there is no rolling anymore, picture display is very still and clear, however it doesnt matter which input I select (ant A , ant B, Input 1 2 3, Monlink, DVI ) it will not display any of the video. Any Thoughts on how to fix this?

Ahh the old rolling picture problem. If this set has a Picture in picture feature, your problem is on the PIP module itself. There is a kit of surface mounted capacitors that need to be replaced If you have some soldering skills you should be able to do this your self, but if you do not, I advise you to get someomne who does as most of these PIP modules are not available any longer. The kit can be purchased from http://www.mcminone.com/search.asp?keyword=Mitsubishi+PIP+kit&btnSubmit.x=6&btnSubmit.y=7 Good Luck

Check your set for coolant leakage. It is very prevalent on Mits HDreadys.
If your 4 layer Signal board - beneath the blue gun - has coolant on it, you'll have problems finding a replacement. If it's the boards under the other 2 guns, they can always be repaired as they are single layer.
A drip shed should be installed to keep the coolant off your boards.

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.

Good Day, boofis68;
Sound like you may have voltage concern,9 volt source. Check for 9-volts DC to the Terminal PCB at connector JA pins 57 and 58 if missing, check IC9C25 (9-volt regulator) part # 270P677030 on the Signal PCB and replace the two caps. Good Luck, big IRISH.
