Question about Panasonic PV-DF2004 20 in. TV/VCR/DVD Combo

2 Answers

No audio We moved our Panasonic upstairs to the bedroom and hooked it up to the cable there. Everything was working fine until I went to change a channel and the sound went. I hooked up the cable box to another tv and the sound works great. The Panasonic has sound when i run a dvd or video's only with cable that there is no sound. i must have hit a weird button but i'm stumped. i have also unplugged the cable box and unplugged the tv to try to reset them. Nothing seems to work. HELP! Does the tv have different speakers for the tv and the dvd player? why is one working and the other not???

Re: No audio

Try to reprogram the channel. it seems that your tv's sound circuit is fine.

I have a panasonic viera 42 in plasma. It has a built in freeview receiver. It is in the bedroom and receives a signal through a booster from the main sky box. I can get free view channels on it but can't...

switch tv to analogue tv and auto tune on tuning menu making sure sky is on. It should find it around channel 69. If quality poor then change output frequency to a lower channel. You do this with sky menu and instruction book. Info is changing RF output in book, or google it.

I have 2 alba tv/dvd combi's.1 in kitchen & 1 in bedroom. After digi switchover 1 in kitchen is fine after re tuning. The bedroom tv only has a few stations after numerous re tunes. Both work off

The one that does not work: have you tried to unplug it for a while from power and plug it back to see if it will reboot and allow you to program?

Howdo I hook a DVD player up to this model?

The easiest way would be to hook it up using the composite cables from the DVD player to the Rear of the TV.

First safely and slowly turn your TV around you should see inputs in the rear of the TV.

Second identify your composite inputs. They will be visible via the standard RCA Composite colors, which are Red(Audio), White(audio), and Yellow(Video)
Third Once you have found the RCA Composite Inputs, Take the cable which are inserted into the DVD player and Plug it into the TV's Composite Inputs.

Once all that is done, turn on your DVD player. Then using your TV's remote Press the "TV/VCR" / "Source" / "Input" button on your remote till you see video from your dvd player displayed on your TV.

Here is a link to the User Manual:
Hope this Helps.

Panasonic pv-c1350w channel/clock auto set

You are probably talking about the main menu that appears when the TV is taken off the AC power outlet, to get rid of this page just turn the tv off and on again and it should give you access to what ever channel was tuned before, if your game console has an RF out, your TV should be set to channel 3 ir 4, if the console has composite outs the change the channel until the TV goes to Aux in or Video in. has an instruction manual available which you can download free, just in case you need more informantion, if the channel keys do not work, then you may have to get a universal remote ,they are fairly inexpensive and will come in very handy at least for the basic functions or just have theTV worked on.

How to hook up a DVD to this tv

Find the video input. This is usually located at the back or front or side of the TV. There should be a video and audio (sound) input there. You can hook up your DVD player here. Please use the proper cables for it (use RCA cables). This is usually color coded. Your DVD should have come with it.
Hope I have been of assistance to you.
Thank you.

You should check to see if the sound is really coming from the TV- you may have the sound from the directTV cable box composite audio red and white RCA connectors.

Try connecting from the audio out of the TV to the stereo

Try the menu and see if you can adjust vertical and horizontal hold.

unplug tv for 10 minutes - tehn try again.

change battery in remote, if the remote does not seem to work

good luck
