Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
You do have an account with an isp yeah? eg BT, Tiscali, Sky, etc etc having a wireless router does not in itself get you onto the net... if you have an isp already thats cool but is the router you have a broadband modem too? or does it need to connect to your existing modem? the reason I ask is DNS is dial up networking service and one of the reasons a DNS would not be found is if there simply was not one to be found

Try making following settings in the router by connecting to it using network cable( http://192.168.0.1 will prompt you username & password of router login)
obtain ip address dynamically
def gateway 192.168.0.1
def dns 192.168.0.1
