Question about Ecommerce

Credit Card Scams

I'm here in the midwest. Someone backdoored or malwared me.
Smart kids. They charge a domain name to my Bank Acct.
It appeared on my statement and cause me to overdraft.

I've got heavy guns on firewalls and malware adware removal. BUT they still got me between scans or active boot up scan.

Here's from my statement.
Card Purchase
Yahoo Bernad19.com
Phone 800 - 318-0870 CA
If you type in the site name in.

One of the listings/ info pages you'll find he Hijacked my name and I don't even Know what the site domain is or does. But the main thing is it was fraud and hacked into my bank acct. and kind of smeared Yahoos name a little.
I've been wise and careful but the tracking these people use, is scarey and amazing.

Best of luck.... this isn't my problem or your problem but everyones problem. I have a paypal acct that is SO secure that it kicks me out and I have to resubmit a dozen times. Other merchants, yes we are secure.... yet who knows. I downloaded from CNET and got a Virus ( from an application) in an approved Spyware free enviornment. It's hell in the computer trenchs.
Well, just to let you know the bad guys are out there.

You must use a very good spyware like spybot which is free and ad free too. you can download it from www.filehippo.com. Also, i suggest you to shop securely on any website which show the "Lock" sign in your internet explorer and atleast 128 bit encryption. Always try to shop on these kind of websites.

Need to talk to someone in customer service returns re a product I purchased through my credit card ...no invoice was in the box ...I need to talk with someone Thank you

Please contact the vendor with whom you made the purchase.

If you require further assistance, please add a comment to this question and name the company whose customer service you'd like to contact. It's a bit difficult for us to put you in touch with a company's customer service when you don't tell us the name of the company.

I am trying to purchase from ebay and papal keeps sending me back to merchant. all i want is to pay and get my items.

You would either request a invoice from the seller to pay by bank deposit or a money order or PayPal

When you get to the paypal login page at the bottom you will see new to paypal sign up tab
paypal to create an account

paypal registration =password ,bank card /credit card, phone numbers home/mobile , email adress and a postal address

or send the amount to there email adress
or you will have to create a paypal account

log onto your paypal account under profile you will see your credit/bank cards there you will see a list
Add or Edit Email
Add or Edit Bank Acc
Addor Edir Credit Card

Add or Edit Postal Adress over to the right you will see a contact us tab tell them of your problem/dilemma make a list of problems you have with regarding your account and see if they can help im sure they will help other than that

you will have to contact paypal give them a free call 1800-073-266
6.00 to 22.00 AEST/AEDT to resolve the problem

Open Ebay homepage from the EBAY drop down list select purchase history you will see three options on will be contact seller it might be listed under the more options tab write them down with the number of the purchased item/s then post them

You can contact eBay on the homepage on the left hand side you will see a contact us tab click that another page will open with answer centre.

also eBay explained and security centre click on security tab another page will open on the left hand side you will see live help.

Click that you might have to wait for someone to become available or you can talk to an automated voice explain in detail your problem with the live help you should get the appropriate help.

Can you pay for items by check on ebay and how early do I have to order something to get it by christmas??

It depends on the individual seller, what kind of payments they'll accept. As far as checks and wanting it before Christmas you might run into a problem as those that do accept checks may not ship the product to you until after the check clears their bank. That could be a few days or up to a few weeks, again depending on the individual seller. Usually when you view the item you're interested, near the very bottom of the page you'll find a section that says... Payment. That's where they'll let you know what type of payment they'll accept. By far the most popular is PayPal, which is owned by eBay now. With PayPal you can set up your account to allow them to withdraw funds from your bank account, either savings or checking. If you're not comfortable with that, and a lot of people aren't there are still other options to use PayPal. You can buy what's known as a "Money Pack" which are available at a number of major retailers. There is a fee for this, and have that wired to PayPal to deposit in your PayPal account, then they'll withdraw from there what you need to pay the seller. Another way, and it's the way I used for a long long time, is using a Pre-Paid Debit Card. Most sellers will accept them and run them through PayPal just like a credit card. The reason I chose that way was I could control how much money anyone had access to if the card was ever compromised, which it eventually was. I had deposited just enough to cover an online purchase to site, other than eBay. When I went to make the purchase I found out somebody had used my Debit Card number to make a number of purchases that I never authorized. While whomever it was went on a spending spree trying to buy computers etc. but luckily those purchases were turned down because there was insufficient funds in the account. According to several sources there are some people that use number generators, which generate debit-credit card numbers randomly. Then they try to charge, first small things on it, and if the charge is accepted they go nuts buying all kinds of stuff. Had it been a bank affiliated Debit Card they could have literally wiped out my bank account in a few hours. It took me almost 2 months to get my money back and I will never deal with that Debit Card company again.

I paid for an auction over a week ago and have been receiving messages from ebay that the item is unpaid .Ebay is telling me that they have opened an unpaid case against me. Sender did not originally...

1. If you paid by credit card or bank deposit, send a copy of your bank statement, which will show the payment.
2. If you paid by PayPal, the payment should appear in payment history on your account.
3. If you paid by Western Union, only the seller can mark it as paid and you don't have any power over it.

Identity theft & forgery

If she's stealing money from you, contact the police and then your credit card companies.

If you know who this person is, and have proof of it, send the police to her house, and get them involved.

They're the only ones that can stop this sort of thing.

Just be sure you have valid proof, otherwise she can sue you for slander if it turns out that she's innocent.
