Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Hi. i have the lexmark x1270 and need to change the ink. how on earth do i go about this? i cant find where it goes?!

The x1270 has 2 seperate lids....one for access to the scanner the other for access to ink cartridges....its also hinged so should stay open while you are changing cartridges

I lost my manual for my lexmark x1270 all in one printer.Can you tell me in what order is the ink cartridges placed.Black first or color first?


Here's the link to download the Lexmark X1270 setup sheet: http://bit.ly/9PWpTr. Actually, it doesn't matter what goes in first as long as you have the right cartridges installed. Black cartridges for X1270 are #16 and #17, and color cartridges are #26 and #27.

Printer not comunicating


try to reload the printer driver on your laptop if this doesnt change things then ethernet with your regular computer by cable

My Lexmarkx1270 will not print any black text etc


Is it a new cartridge? If the cartridge has been sitting a while it can get clogged. Try using a moist paper towel and gently wiping the cartridge where the ink comes out.
You could also try running the Lexmark Solutions Center program and use the clean nozzles option to force it to squirt out some black ink.
