Question about Logitech Cordless iTouch Keyboard/Cordless Optical Mouse 967204-0000
I have a dual wireless mouse/keyboard Logitech unit. it has worked fine for several years. today, I mistakenly unplugged the transmitter from the computer USB port; when I plugged it back in, the keyboard worked but not the mouse. I tried pressing the re-connect buttons (on transmitter and mouse), installing new batteries, re-booting... nothing works. the keyboard continues to work fine, but not the mouse. any ideas
This problem was happening on my system but i managed to fix it easily! What has happened is your itouch software has become corrupt so it will only recognise your keyboard thus the usb connection. You will need to download/install off disc onto your computer again but do NOT go to uninstall program manager on windows as it will not appear there because even though you can access the itouch configuration panel, the database is corrupt and the administrative system will not recognise this. Just download/install via disc and it will just install with no alerts unlike most programs which will recognise the program is already installed onto the system. Once the setup is 92% it will freeze for a second then the found new hardware window will appear on screen go through that process and your mouse is back to normal and your keyboard will work via itouch software.
(Please note that this will only work on windows)
