It may be the fan/fan cover assembly or it may also be the magnatron, after a while of use, before faulting the plates inside dislodge and can rattle around while in use.

Turntable not rotating

Most likely the gear is stripped. Pull up the turntable and then run it. Watch the wheel and see if it is spinning without the turntable.

Light and fan stay on and turntable no longer work

Hi,
Not sure if your model has a belt driven turntable or gear driven. The cause of your problem is most likely a worn or loose drive gear or a drive belt which is worn or has come off.
Best have this checked at your local repair shop.

Best wishes,

Turntable has stopped turning

Remove the turntable plate from the oven. Put a cup of water inside the oven, away from the turntable drive gear. Turn the oven on and look through the door to see if the drive gear is turning. If not, then the motor is probably defective and needs to be replaced.

The turntable comes off it's track and sparks. The sparks have taken off the black paint on the inside of the door. How can I touch up the spot of the door? I rent and I can't afford to replace the thing!

Sounds like you haven’t correctly centered the ring assembly under your glass platter. Remove the glass platter, now place the plastic ring with tiny wheels in the center and move it around by hand. You will be able to tell instantly if it’s centered correctly. Now place the platter on the center hub gear.
To replace the coating on the microwave glass visit these web sites. www.partselect.com or www.applianceaid.com and enter your model number then scroll down to your part. Click to enlarge and you will be able to view the entire diagram for exact assembly. If you found any of these suggestions helpful, please rate my solution. D. Lange

Light, turntable and fan don't work

Possibly the light bulb has blown, which has blown on a track on the board which has taken out the turntable motor and the fan. Also, there could be a problem with the door switch.

Revolving plate no longer rotates . All else works, it continu;es to cook, but we need to move the items of food from time to time

Remove the plate, and check if the square shaped gear that normally spins the turntable is rotating.

If it is rotating, then replace the turntable gear.

If it is not rotating that means that the motor that spins the microwave turntable does not rotate, and must be replaced.
