Question about Sanyo PLV 70 Multimedia Projector

1 Answer

Horizontal lines traveling up screen

I have had the plv-70 for about 2 yrs. It recently developed a problem where horizontal lines slowly move up the image. Nothing in the Sanyo troubleshooter about such a problem.

Re: horizontal lines traveling up screen

Sounds like a ground loop on the video signal. Try using a ground lift on your computer and or your projector.

I cannot power up my Sanyo PLV-70 projector. I have changed the power cable but the box is still dead, no sign of any power input.

try another wall outlet if that dosent work try a nother cord, than if it still wont respond it could be a blowed fuse or a bad power bord.

This could be due to one of the three filters that are easy to change - download the free pdf service manual - not the user manual - it is very descriptive and the filter is about $120 from Sanyo.

Sanyo PLV 70 - Power Won't Turn On

it could that the plastic stem on the inside of the lamp cover on the underside of the projector may have snapped off. if it has you'll have to wedge something onto the cross shaped hole, to keep button inside the hole pressed in, in order for the projector to turn on
