Re: Are antique room dividers worth a lot of money?
It depends on how old, how well maintained, how many were made andthe general upkeep of your room divider. If your antique room divider is in decent shape, with few blemishes, there is no reason why you should get less than $200 for it.

Wonder if it is a "badged" machine. There were a lot made in Japan post-WWII. I have one called Premier DeLuxe, but they must have had a thousand names for the machines they made. Not worth a lot of money (for selling) but most are good, heavy sewing machines that can stitch through a lot of things current machines can't.
You can use a curtain as a room divider but I don't recommend itbecause curtains collect dust. Also, room dividers are a great way to make a small room feel bigger where arecurtains just close the room off.
Because your china cabinet is from the 40s, it is considered anantique. Antiques in good condition tendto go for a lot of money, even if the item was originally purchased for a smallsum. I would call an appraiser in yourarea to give you some tips on how to restore the cabinet. The appraiser will then tell you how muchyour cabinet could go for in auction or private sale, once you have completedthe restoration process.
Some of the older radios are worth money, seeing how they are antiques, so I would research yours, make sure how much it's worth, check tube prices, try to find one on ebay or some other place, and repair it, because chances are it could be worth money.
