was thinking ,,,, do you use dryer sheets in your dryer / if so check and see if one maybe blocking your air vent on the back inside dryer / if so that can cause your problem too and alot of people will over look it.

everything i can think of without having my head stuck in it is a dryer sheet inside dryer is blocking air, the air duct on the port the filer sets in is stopped, the sensor is bad or the blower is part way restricted / sorry i can't help from here but if i was there i would find your problem.

Do you use dryer sheets? The chemical in dryer sheets seal up the little holes in the lint filters. To test, take the lint filter to the sink and see if it holds water. If it does, give it a good scrub and toss out the dryer sheets.

Need to replace the foam strip that seals the front door on my Bosch 500 Nexxt series electric I do this from the front?

Most likely yes. Get a good adhesive for it though and make sure it is dry before you close the door and before you use it.

Hi i need to replace my lint filter in my nexxt 800 series gas dryer pls advice as to where i can buy it from.

You should be able to buy it directly from Bosch. Try this link.">

Type in your model number and a parts list and diagram will be available to you. They also provide a 1-800 number to call and order parts.

I have ordered parts directly from Bosch in the past and received them in a couple days.

I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 series dryer. Today I was drying my clothes and half way through the dry the machine just stopped spinning. I press start and it just makes a clicking sound but it doesn't spin....

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. There are a couple of scenarios which may prevent the dryer from starting with Bosch, but based on your post it is most likely the emergency shut off/belt switch. It is located by the motor and in the event of too heavy a load or a broken belt it shuts the unit down & prevents any restart...until it is repaired or reset. To save time and back and forth dialog, I`ll mention what to do about it. **Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair tips suggested here first** This will require you to remove the back panel. Once you've remove the rear panel, It is located next to the belt pulley and all you need to do is push it to the right ( from the back ) Let me know if you require further assistance to do this. Keep me posted how you make out or if anything is not clear. I'm presently on my iphone, but I can post more info with pictures to guide you if necessary...but please let me know. Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)

Need help on Bosch nexxt 800 series dryer .... where is the reset switch inside the back? I have air blowing but it is cold. dryer only 1 yr old and repair man said it trips alot in this model. I cant...

Most Bosch appliance come with a minimum 2 year warranty from the manufacturer, before trying anything yourself please verify if it is still covered as you may invalidate your cover if you attempt a repair yourself..... that said if the limiter has been tripped there will be a reason... a. you are not letting the cycle finish, the last 10mins is a cooldown which the unit needs to do. b. the load going into the machine is far too wet, c. the outlet hose is kinked or blocked or d. you are running several loads straight one after another. I have put a link for the spare part placement on this post and I believe that the only resetable stat is item 405 on page four. this is accessed by removing the back panel (obviously isolate unit from mains before dismantling) and the limiter is on the side of the heater box at the bottom right, look at the unit from behind.
Hope this helps

Dryer Struggles to Start Tumbling WTA3510 UC/13

Hi again Thomas,

Thank you for your concern. And no, I did not loose my account. It is just the way the system goes. As coldhourz has posted, I have done multiple repost but for some reason, you could not view any of them.

I have emailed the admins of the status of your post/problem. It is just that the wheels do grind a bit slowly. With your indulgence, may I suggest that we leave things as they are and just not to please accept any new solutions. I would expect that you would receive an email detailing how to go about accepting my solution.

Pls bear with us as things are being attended to even now as I respond to you. This much I know as I received an email in response to my calling the admin's attention. Again, might be some more delay(s) but what is important is that you know I have not abandoned your problem with just a single post.

Again, thanks. The FixYa rating would be secondary as your acceptance is more important.
