they start at the bottom and go all the way up and are evenly spaced apart no curve to them and straight as can be they are thin though

i took the blue crt board off and the lines went from blue to red, but before i was wiggling the wire that is in the front of the bulb and the lines were going in and out, not the whole line but some of it.....this is gonna sound dumb but how do i tell if its open and if it is what do i do then

Its either the Blue CRT or the Blue CRT drive Board which is causing the lines, More probalble would be the Resistors on the CRT board. I would recomend unsoldering one side of each resistor on the Blue CRT drive and lifting that end up out of circuit and checking, one may be open which would cause that symptom

Tv bows

I have the same TV and just finished having my TV repaired for the same problem. I was unable to converge the colors even in the advanced convergence setup menu. The lines were bowing so far that adjustment was not possible. I had to replace the vertical and horizontal convergence controllers located on the main electronics panel. They require a lot of soldering and should be done by a professional. Unfortunately this is a common "maintenance" repair that happens every 5-7 years, depending on the usage, costing around $500.00 for in home repair. DO NOT USE YOUR TV IF THE CONVERGENCE IS BAD AS IT MY CAUSE THE POWER SUPPLY TO BLOW resulting in addition repair costs.

MITSUBISHI 65" WIDESCREEN MODEL WS 65809 (GREEN GONE, SMALL RED LINES)

in the front cover turn up screens on all colors till you see retrace lines, then back them down to where dissappear. enless you know the correct voltage to set it. as for the green. i would try the red crt on the green and see if it looks ok. if so then replace crt circuit or check transistors on crt circuit may also need to change the driver on the heat sync.
