Whilst starting your computer press the F10 key (might be F12) All keys are listed under the dell logo just after you power on. When the recovery manager menu appears you can restore your PC from the recovery partition on your hard drive. CAUTION: this will delete all your files, so make sure that you back up your doc's etc. Your PC might have the dell recovery disk creator application installed on it, Click START> PROGRAMS> and look for dell disk creator program. Usually this program will only let you create on set of disks so keep them safe If you don’t have the recovery manager you can reinstall an operating system manually after first having downloaded your drivers from the dell website and placing them on a CD or DVD. You can also purchase recovery disks for your computer from Dell thought this can be expensive.
Your computer is a good one, so is Roxio a good software. but it seems like a compatability problem. Roxio likes Vista, but does windows like Roxio? I would run a compatability test, windows will do it free.
ROXIO Multi Media Tray Application Module Has Encountered a problem and needs to close.
This Means ROXIO Creator 10 Try Application Encountered an error.
And since it happens while burning a disc
1. Uninstall ROXIO Creator 10 , and reinstall it to make sure nothing is corupted.
2. If you still get the same problem it's time to check your intire system for errors.
This can mean you will need to take trouble shooting steps.
1. Use another burning program to see if you can burn without errors.
2. if you can burn fine with another burning program like NERO then chances are
you have an incompatability with ROXIO Creator 10 and should consult the documentation
to see if your drive is actually supported by it.
Do these things weed hopper and all will be well with you.
What makes you think that PrintShop 2009 is somehow OUR program? Fixya doesn't produce software but it does produce techs to help with your software issues. Print Shop is produced by the company here Questions concerning specific issues about program installation or loading might best be taken there
Sad to say that FixYa did not fix my problem. It was finally resolved when a Borderbund representative advised me that I had to install "Stuffit" before I could download the software. I purchased Stuffit and subsequently have been able to download the Greeting Card Creator.
Ok - the link I found for a fix for the error messages also seems to have fixed the problem with disks not being recognized! Apparently it is all linked to WMP 11. So....here's the link to the fix: http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/Creator/000058MD
