this is because they're not installed. ok the light is on but that tells you it's talking to the base, not the pc. try plugging in a standard ps2 mouse (the one with a round plug on the end) to get past the profile page.

The new router could very well be causing wireless interference. Try moving the router away or turning it off and see if the mouse works. If it does, try changing the channel number on the router to see if that is causing the problem as it's possible both the mouse and router are using the same wireless channel and clashing. You can usually find the channel option in the Wireless Settings page of your router setup web interface.

check the device for a " reset " button, they are usually located on the bottom of the device, if this does not work, you may need to contact dell directly and discuss the problem further.

It does not work

Try all the usb ports. Also you need to restart the computer for it to detect the mouse often. You don't need drivers for a mouse, so it should just simply plug and play.

My wireless optical mouse is no longer working

You replaced the batteries. Okay. Did you install drivers for the mouse from a CD? Are you using Windows XP? Do you notice any change if you use the mouse on a darker surface as opposed to lighter surface? If the computer installed the drivers for you, then you might want to delete them in Device Manager (might be called something like HID-Compliant Mice. Single click on that entry, press the delete key. You might have to reboot your PC after that. From there you might have to unplug, then plug in the mouse again and you should notice the driver reinstalling. Give it a second and all should be good.

*Access the Device Manager by right-clicking on My Computer, select Properties, go to the Hardware tab and select Device Manager.

Logitech LX 710 keyboard and Mouse stopped working. I changed batteries and went through set up procedure and nothing.

Hi,
Are you talking about wireless keyboard and mouse right ! Okay... then Make sure the sensor is plugged in to the system or not. Check that you have replaced the batteries with 4 AA alkaline batteries. Please go through the manual once. If don't have the manual click on the below link or copy the URL and paste it in your web browser.

MICROSOFT WIRELESS MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD 1.1 > not working

I was just about to write "I have the same problem", but i think i fixed it!!!!

background: I move my wireless keybd/mouse between my desktop and laptop units.... All was fine until a few days ago when some update completely disabled my desktop... I think the wireless began malfunctioning about the same time.

Just now, I pressed the ?reconnect button? on the front of the keybd/mouse receiver then pressed the connect buttons on the back of each device and PRESTO!! the keybrd works!!!

I just typed this entire message with the wireless keybd.

I hope this helps someone
