My Polaroid i532 won't turn on

My camera won't turn on. It’s a paper weight basically. I turned the camera off, and went turn it back on and nothing. I went to put in new batteries and the battery well had got hot during the time I went to get the new batteries. I don't know why it got hot I only turned it off? Any suggections? I used the camera yesterday. Took a couple pictures, put them on my computer, deleted them from the camera, turned the camera off. Today it will not turn on. I've tried several sets of new batteries, and nothing.

SOURCE: Camera turns on for a few seconds, then off.

A light rap with a knuckle when powering up fixed the problem, at least temporarily. Lens extended, camera works fine. Not exactly a technical fix, but it worked for me.

I have the same camera and the same problem, if you use lithium batteries it keeps the charge longer because regular batteries aren't strong enough. Hope that helps you! :)

My son dropped his Polaroid i532 camera after

many ideas! But they all lead to the bank! you either repair ( expensive) or throw it in the bin. You could try a claim on your insurance. But it would depend on the excess you might have to pay to justify the value of a repair
