SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

FREEZER TEMPURATE KEEPS DROPING AND ALARM GOES OF THE WORD SENCE COMES UP

Well... kevin mc kay,

Historical data ... none (worked, flooded, bullet-holes, etc.),
Age... not stated

Without any make & model... ALWAYS GREAT FUN
I did go out into cyberspace and waste oodles of time
searching for failing freezers... in conjunction with "SENCE".

I came up with incredibly little from our contemporary
be-wilderness... save a SAMSUNG reference to remote monitoring
related to their model RFG293HARS ... (remote monitoring??).
Read the manual from end to end (English section).

Very pretty... Still trying to wrap my head around its TWIN-EVAPORATOR design...

WHICH could (might) explain why you are complaining about your FREEZER TEMP... when we mere single EVAPORATOR folks
loose our REFRIGERATORS first.

So... (make/model = no)...

Moving past "SENCE"...
You need to look deep into the vent slots of your FREEZER section and report back IF THERE IS A MASS of FROST
visible...?

If so... you are looking at a defrost failure...

ELSE...
You are looking at a refrigerant loss,
e-fan, c-fan or compressor failures... any or all.

Detailed speculation is SERIOUSLY inhibited by the lack of any relevant data.

Hope this helped...
Help the FIXYA volunteer community...
Post the make and model with your question... Pretty please.

Whar does a typical serial number look like

The serial number will appear on the label that contains the manufacturer's name and model number. The label will also provide the voltage, amp, refrigerant type and weight and... the serial number. Here are examples:

I have a kenmore refrigerator freezer workng ok but refrigerator is not. my model # is 253.74872400. or where can I find a technical sheet to look at it?

Hello there,
You can as well check up on it yourself, or have a friend who is technically able to help you carry out the information in the tips below in order to be able to solve the problem.
Do you have ice build up at the back of the unit? If so, unplug it and leave it to thaw before you start the testing.
The problem with the refrigerator that is causing the freezer to be working okay, but the fridge not to be working lies within the defrost thermostat, defrost heater and the defrost timer.
Here are the links to testing the components and replacing the faulty one amongst them.
Defrost thermostat http://www.fixya.com/support/r10513592-test_defrost_thermostat http://www.fixya.com/support/r10513650-replace_defrost_thermostat defrost heater http://www.fixya.com/support/r10523771-test_defrost_heater http://www.fixya.com/support/r10523754-replace_defrost_heater defrost timer http://www.fixya.com/support/r10523722-test_defrost_timer http://www.fixya.com/support/r10523742-replace_defrost_timer

You can have some to assist you if you are not familiar with sich technical activity.

Hope this helped. All the best Elect_Comp

Th car will not start the garage is telling me that the wiring on the car is not listed on any auto data sights so they do not know where anything is on the car so to speak

I do no know what sources of technical data the shop you use, but my shop uses ALLDATA and it has 4 different model Passat's in which I can look up technical data. Everything from tire pressures to major engine and transmission repairs. There are complete breakdowns of the electrical circuits and then a diagram to tie them all together. A subscription to ALLDATA is not cheap, but if you fix more than 50 cars a years, it is a good investment. Mitchel also is another good source. Th
ey sell subscriptions to manuals (books) as well as computer programs. If a shop wants to go on the cheap, Clymer publications, Motors manuals and a few other are available at Barnes & Nobel. Another option is purchasing specific data on a vehicle off the internet.
They just don't want to jack with your car!
It sounds like you need to find another shop.

I am looking for a manual for a dometic caravan fridge. model no RM 2350 Serial no 34100468. so we know how to use it.

That should be easy to find here=> http://www.gasrefrigeration.net/dometic_manuals.htmsea_breeze_11.gif
They have most of the User Manuals and answers to many questions you may have. Now when you are outside the USA the Name Brand's appear to change just a little but alway reflect back to Dometic and Norcold. If you are needing the Technical Data for a Model RM2350 the Service Manuals/Technical Data will fall under the RM2300 to the RM2800 series. Anyway hope that will get you going for now, Thanks, Sea Breeze

How do I tell the year an Admiral refrigerator was built?

Most older refrigerators will have the Date Of Manufacture stamped on the model number tag. Most newer models after 1990 will not have the DOM.

If no DOM is present, you can tell if your refrigerator or freezer is made before or after 1995, IF you still have the model number tag. This tag always has the model and serial number, as well as some technical information, including the refrigerant type used in the system. Models made before 1995 will use refrigerant 12, or R12, models 1995 and after will use refrigerant 134A or R134A.
