Format my cell shut down automatocally when memory card is inserted

    how can i reformat to my cp nokia 3110c?do you have any ideas to solve this?do you have any code for this nokia 3110c?because when i inserted my memory card it will shut down automatically? it is possibility that my memory card has virus?

Just check your manual to see how much storage of memory card maximum capacity will be compatible. there are some phones that can handle higher capacity memory card others cant.

Memory card not working


There are several reason:
  • If you insert memory card from other device then first check the compatibility of that memory card with your cell phone
  • May be your memory card demands format, so erase your old data and insert again
  • if your Samsung doesn't allow it to format then put back your memory card in previous device (phone or camera) and format it.
  • There will be a chance that your memory card is corrupted, if yes, change it and purchase new.

Take a backup of your data from memory card(if any important data is there). then try to format the memory card from mobile. so if you will let mobile format the SD there might be deleted any corrupted file and may be a missing file will be copied...

Cannot transfer videos from pc directly to external memory, samsung star


Hi,

To transfer pictures (via a memory card) to a PC requires a microSD Memory Card, Memory Card Adaptor & Memory Card Reader. The microSD memory card MUST first be formatted, by the phone, in order for the phone to create the destination folders. Please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB.

This phone will support the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card. However, for optimal performance Samsung recommends using a card no larger than 2GB.

To learn how to format the microSD memory card, using the phone,The plug-in microSD memory card and its contents can be easily damaged by scratches or bending. Use caution when inserting or removing the card and keep all memory cards out of reach of children.

Warning: Formatting a memory card will permanently delete all current content.

To format a microSD memory card follow the steps below:

  1. Insert a microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located under the battery cover
  2. From the standby screen, press Menu
  3. Press Settings
  4. Scroll down then press Memory Management
  5. Press Memory Card Details
  6. Press Format
  7. Press Yes to confirm formatting the microSD Memory Card
Caution!: Do not repeatedly format a Memory Card as this shortens it's service lifeWARNING: Formatting the microSD Memory Card will permanently erase all data

To transfer pictures (via a memory card), from the phone, to a PC follow the steps below:
  1. Insert the formatted microSD memory card into the memory card slot, located under the battery cover

    1. When correctly inserted, the memory card icon microsd2.gif is displayed
      1. From the standby screen, press Menu
      2. Press My Stuff
      3. Press Pictures or Videos to view the contents
      4. Press Manage
      5. Press either Move or Copy
      6. Press each image to check their box or press All to check All boxes
      7. Press either Move or Copy
      8. Press Memory Card
      9. Press either Pictures or Videos
      10. Press Paste Here to Move or Copy the Photo(s)/Video(s) to the microSD memory card
      11. Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card slot
      12. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor
      13. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader
      14. Insert the memory card reader into the USB slot on the PC
      15. Navigate to the desired Photo/Video destination location, using Windows Explorer, then paste the Photo(s)/Video(s) into the destination on the PC

I PURCHASE 4GB MEMORY CARD AND INSERTED IN NOKIA 6303 CLASSIC MOBILE, FEW DAYS AFTER MEMORY CARD FAILED AND NOT ABLE TO OPEN, WHEN IAM TRYING TO OPEN IT DISPLAYS "MEMORY CARD NOT FORMATTED...


1. Insert the memory card in a card reader.
2. Connect it to a PC or a laptop.
3. Go to My Computer > Removable Disk
4. Right click on the Removable Disk icon and click on format.
5. This shall format your memory card.
6. Run an anti-virus scan on it in order to fix any possible bugs.

My mobile displays no memory card inserted when there is one


May be memory card is not inserted properly, plug it out and insert it again. and switch off and then do on your phone.
if not working by doing above...
Then there may be memory card problem, or format of memory card not supported by phone...
Do a memory card format using your PC, format it with NTFS file system. and then insert it into your phone it may start working...

Memory card unlock


The way is open your memory card from your phone and insert another phone which also support micro sd memory card. when you insert that then you will see memory card lock unlock memory card. first cancel that and Enter the tools option and go to memory card option. try to format memory card. if format memory card then from your memory remove password. thanks

Motorola k1 cannot format unformatted memory card


sometimes there are sd card errors make you format failed. you may get messages like

"Unsupported media card inserted, format now?" error in your smart phone,
"Media is not formatted would you like to format now?" error,

... ...

you need to fix sd memory card errors first and them format you sd card.

Hi,do you have card reader? if so use your pc to format the card,use FAT32 format. If your PC doesn't recognise the card then it is broken.

Media card insert


you need to format the card. Go to options, scroll down to "media card". Click on this, when it opens, make sure media card support is "on", .......make sure Mass storage support is "on" Then click on "Menu" which brings up the option to "Format card" Then cliuck on this option and it should be OK,
