Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player won't charge anymore

I had my e250 hooked up to a Itrip transmitter for my car. I couldn't get it to work and I was driving so I just switched over and listened to some CD's. I left it hooked up to the Itrip for probably 12 hours while driving and when I got to my house the battery was dead. So I let it charge for probably 10 hours at least. When I tryed to turn it on after letting it charge the battery would shut off. I've tried letting it charge for over 24 hours now and it will barely charge itself. After letting it charge for over 24 hours I had maybe 5 or 10 minutes of time before it died again. Is this battery shot or can I save it some how?

An itrip has different charging rates than an ipod, so you fried something inside of your sandisk.

My itrip shut off automatic altough is connected to the player and to the power source

Lighter outlets can be quite tricky. Make sure your outlet is clean and all the cables aren't cut on your iTrip. DO NOT clean it while the car is on OR while the battery is connected. 12V running through your finger can be very uncomfortable. I LOVE that device. Worst comes to be.. you might have to replace the lighter outlet on the car.

Why is my itrip screen blank?

The battery is probably too flat to be recharged via normal methods, you need to get a new battery, or take the old one out and charge it with a higher power charger.

My griffin itrip will not work with my ipod touch

Do a soft reset, once or twice, by pressing the power and center buttons at the same time. This should work. It did for me, and I found the answer on the Griffon site. Hope it helps!
