Question about Bosch Axxis WTA 3510 Electric Dryer
Our IC70C is stopping after running for a few seconds. I have replaced the door catch without improving the problem. The rod in the door which appears to allow the dryer to detect the door being closed has a bend end. The dryer stops when the vibration opens the door fractionally. I suspect the door-closed detection mechanism is at fault, but dont know the part numbers. If I start it and tape the door closed, the dryer operates perfectly. Can anyone help me with the part number, or suggest where the real problem may lie?
We experienced a similar problem and corrected it by closing the drying door and then hitting "OPEN" followed by closing. Sometimes we use a tool to release the catch and then close the door. We have not seen this problem return.
